SIERRA PARK NATURE TRAIL FOR THE BLIND
The Edmonds Lions Club planned and constructed the Sierra Park Nature Trail for the Blind in 1976 as a bicentennial project for the State of Washington. The trail gently winds through the park. Signs along the path identify in braille and print the trees along the way. In 2016 the Club donated and installed a United States flag, pole, and dedication plaque at the park entrance. Edmonds Lions have regular work parties to keep the park in good condition. The park is located at 19020 82nd Avenue West, Edmonds, Washington 98026.
The Edmonds Lions Club is pleased to offer a $1,000.00 scholarship to a deserving senior currently enrolled in Edmonds-Woodway High School and to a current student currently enrolled in Meadowvale High School.
